DETAILS
Peppermint essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the Mentha piperita plant, native to Europe and the Middle East, but currently cultivated in many world regions. Peppermint is a hybrid mint, a cross between water mint and spearmint. Its aroma is described as fresh, cool, herbal, and minty.
Peppermint has been valued since ancient times. People have used peppermint oil to treat various illnesses, including digestive conditions, colds, and headaches. And the leaves, fresh or dried, are often used for herbal infusions and to flavor foods, beverages, and personal care products, like toothpastes, shampoos, soaps, and skin lotions.

Remedy's Nutrition® Peppermint essential oil is in its pure and undiluted state. Start with small amounts: three drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil. If tolerated, you may increase the ratio until the desired effect is obtained.

- For a stimulating, focused environment, add Peppermint oil to your favorite diffuser.
- Add a fresh, pleasing scent to your personal care and cosmetic products, adding a few drops of Peppermint oil.
