Details

Our Organic Blood Builder Supplement contains useful dietary foods such as Beet Root, Yellow Dock and extracts of leafy greens. Yellow Dock Root contains 40% iron compounds.  Our formula is not constipating because no inorganic iron is added.  If your typical diet lacks essential leafy greens and foods rich in iron, our organic Blood Builder supplement may provide the energy you need!

Coupled with a balanced diet, the herbs in our organic supplement have been found to support the body's ability to carry oxygen, resulting in more energy and supporting a healthy immune system.   Beets contain bioavailable iron, as well as folic acid and increase the oxygen uptake of cells.  There are other supplements on the market, but supplements such as Floravital®  tend to be more expensive to cover the cost of the glass bottle as well as the juices and other liquids utilized in the product.  Our Blood Builder can be an affordable alternative.

When inadequate nutrition or diet is suspected, the fact sheet provided by The National Institutes of Health at http://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/Iron-HealthProfessional/ provides a list of iron-rich foods that can be used to ensure adequate nutrition support.

These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

WANT TO KNOW MORE?  Healthy blood contains red blood cells which carry oxygen to the body, but anemia may affect the body's ability to do so efficiently.  There are five types of anemia; the most common is iron-deficiency anemia.  In this case, the body lacks sufficient healthy red blood cells.  Why is this important?  The Mayo Clinic observes: '...Without enough iron, your body can't produce enough of a substance in red blood cells that enables them to carry oxygen (hemoglobin). As a result, iron deficiency anemia may leave you tired and short of breath.  You can usually correct iron deficiency anemia with iron supplementation...' (http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/iron-deficiency-anemia/basics/definition/con-20019327).  Because anemia can be a symptom of underlying issues such as internal bleeding, we recommend that you consult your healthcare practitioner to rule out life-threatening disease.1

1.  The article "Diagnosis and management of iron deficiency anemia in the 21st century' observes: "...Decreased iron absorption may also be the result of atrophic gastritis or malabsorption syndromes especially celiac disease []. Postsurgical gastrectomy (partial or total) and intestinal resection or bypass may also produce iron deficiency anemia secondary to decreased iron absorption."
