Probiotics and Children

How often does your children nutrition cross your mind? If you’re like most parents, it is a constant worry! What about the word “Probiotic”? Did you know probiotics are crucial to your children daily nutritional diet? You may ask: "Why is a probiotic so important and what exactly is it?" I am here to inform you that probiotics are good bacteria that help replace the harmful bacteria in the intestines. People all over the world, including babies and toddlers, use probiotics daily to promote their gastrointestinal health. This healthy bacteria aids and enhances the process of food digestion, passing of stools and other colon related issues that can create discomfort for your babies and toddlers. Probiotics support a healthy colon for a healthy tummy.
Now let me tell you a little story to back up the information I just gave you. I am a mother of a 3-year-old boy who constantly complained his stomach hurt when he ate food such as dairy or bread. He was also getting cold symptoms that would last weeks on end! I started giving him our toddler probiotic and he has not complained of his tummy nor has had cold symptoms that last weeks on end. Probiotics are a wonderful thing for all babies, children, and adults.
