A recent study at Northwestern University of Chicago proved some direct links to food and the development of Alzheimer's. It basically proved that nitrates can affect insulin levels that in turn start the Alzheimer's process.
The greatest culprits are:
*Smokes meats even turkey, sausages, etc.
*Sodium Nitrates
*Processed Cheeses
*Beer that uses white or GM processed corn
*White Sugar
The best way to avoid Alzheimer's according to recent studies, eat as natural as possible, maintain adequate vitamin D levels, maintain the right oxidation levels, and maintain low stress levels (Happy Surfer).
