Remedy's Multi-Minerals are a unique blend of minerals and herbal sources of minerals. It is a unique formulation that requires only two capsules to provide 1,000 mg of calcium, 500 mg of Magnesium Citrate, 99 mg of Potassium Citrate, 25 mg of Zinc Oxide and an abundance of micro-nutrients. By including Watercress, Alfalfa and Spirulina, among others, our formula provides natural non-constipating iron, iodine and other micro-nutrients and minerals. Our formula is unique because it is formulated as a capsule, is not heat-pressed and does not contain fillers, soy and other additives that most multi-mineral formulas on the market include; these additives also require that three to four hard tablets or capsules be consumed to reach the supplement levels in just two of our capsules.
Because of its high levels of calcium and magnesium, Remedy's Multi-Minerals helps support cardiac health, promotes better and more restful, supports good colon health and regular bowel movements and alleviates cramps caused by magnesium deficiencies. Because minerals are an integral part of our body's makeup, they perform and support hundreds of body functions. Minerals are useful for supporting normal growth, building strong muscles and bones, and improving immune system function and overall health.
Promoters sometimes market 'chelated' minerals as dietary supplements. Chelated minerals are minerals that have been combined chemically with amino acids to form “complexes.” Some claim that these are superior to other mineral supplements, claiming chelated minerals are used more easily by the body (more bioavailable) than non-chelated minerals. You will see products labeled as chelated boron, chelated calcium, chelated chromium, etc. But there is no evidence to support this claim. In fact, there is very little scientific information or clinical studies based on chelated minerals.
Blood work may show that an individual has 'sufficient' calcium, magnesium, etc.; however, other tests may also show that the person is suffering from bone loss. If the individual has taken in sufficient minerals and these are present in the blood, why would there be an issue with bone formation? There are many medical explanations. However, a simple complementary test can help your healthcare professional to evaluate if the body is assimilating the nutrition it is receiving.
